Founded in 2013, Sai Mudra Pratishthan is a non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting marginalized, impoverished, and disabled individuals who have been adversely impacted by social and economic changes, community norms, and other factors. Our mission is to empower these individuals, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives by helping themselves. We are guided by the principle that every person is unique and deserves equal opportunities to live with dignity.
Rural Development Trust Kankuri is a community-based organization founded in 1987 with a vision to transform lives through education and sustainable development.
For over 30 years, we've been working tirelessly in the field of child education and rural development in Maharashtra. Our flagship institution, New English School Kankuri (established in 1989), provides quality education to students from 5th to 10th grade.
Most of our students come from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds - primarily from families of poor farmers and daily wage laborers. What makes us especially proud is that for many of these children, they are the first generation in their families to receive formal education.
The school currently has a strength of 250 students and 13 classrooms. We believe nutrition is as important as education, which is why we provide daily meals to our students, though we constantly strive to improve the quality and nutritional value of these meals.
